Dear MACA Friends and Supporters:
Thank you for all the support and encouragement you give to all of us at Monroe Area Council for the Arts. This year MACA is celebrating its 25th performance series. Our first concert – sponsored by Monroe County Tourism and State Farm, was a celebration of Monroe County’s bicentennial. A wonderful time was had by all! Just a few weeks ago at Sweetwater Elementary School, Shadows of the 60’s – sponsored by J-TEKT, was truly a spectacular night! Over 300 people were in attendance. MACA is looking forward to several more performances at this location in 2020. The Nashville Legacy is scheduled to perform at this venue on February 29th— sponsored by People’s Bank & Mountain Trust Mortgage.
The first week of March, MACA will once again bring the Missoula Children’s Theatre to Monroe County. The Missoula residents will work with local children to produce two public performances. Additionally, MACA’s annual golf tournament is scheduled for March 21st at Kahite Links. Create a team and join us! On May 9th this year’s performance series will end at Tsali Notch Vineyard with great music from Charlie Mars. MACA’s second annual Student Art Show for Monroe area students will be May 14th at Brown Intermediate School. This summer MACA will provide two weeks of summer art camps for students K-4th grade as well as art, music and theater camps for students grades 5th – 12th.
